Exceliving Twinning Programme

The EXCELIVING Twinning Programme aims for knowledge exchange among Clusters, SMEs and other Clusters’ members from different European regions, contributing to facilitate the exchange of experiences, identify new projects and initiatives, increase the capacity of participants to overcome the corona pandemic crisis, and create a favourable ecosystem to promote healthy, age-friendly, and sustainable living spaces.

 The EXCELIVING Twinning Programme has been defined to strengthen the cooperation between entities with similar challenges and needs, as well as share information and know-how, encouraging the participation of actors from regions less developed.

The actions to be boosted and organised under the EXCELIVING Twinning Programme will be focused on healthy, age-friendly, and sustainable living spaces and some of the topics to be addressed are presented below:

• Sustainability and Circular Economy
• Healthy environments
• Assisted environments
• Connected environments
• Sustainable living spaces
• Smarter living environments
• Innovative construction materials and furniture
• Ecological and sustainable raw materials and components
• Internationalisation
• Innovation

In the EXCELIVING Twinning Programme the transfer of knowledge between agents along the Habitat value chain will be accomplished through different actions framed in the following key areas of collaboration:

• Area 1 - Exchange of experiences and operational know-how between staff from the EXCELIVING Clusters partnership.

Through 10 specific bilateral webinars between the 5 Clusters of the partnership on the cluster operation activities and management.

• Area 2 - Improve the services offered by Clusters to SMEs as well as the provision of new common services.

Through 10 specific bilateral sessions between the 5 Clusters of the partnership on the offered services to their members and their operationalisation as well as the promotion of other initiatives.

• Area 3 - Exchange of experience and knowledge among clusters, SMEs and other Clusters’ members, through networking and matchmaking actions (B2B and C2C).

4 B2B and 4 C2C sessions happening during the ClusterXchange events that have included a specific presentation session of the EXCELIVING Twinning Programme.

• Area 4 - Capacity building of clusters and SMEs’ staff.

This will include the Capacity Building Programme addressed to EXCELIVING Cluster partners, as well as the Training Programme addressed to SMEs.

• Area 5 – Promotion of collaboration and development of specific initiatives or projects.

This will be done during the events and networking happening during the ClusterXchange events.

• Area 6 - Work together to address specific common challenges and needs.

This will be done during the events and networking happening during the ClusterXchange events.

At least 10 sessions will be organised to promote the EXCELIVING Twinning Programme until the end of the project.

EXCELIVING aims to gather at least 30 entities (Clusters, SMEs and other Clusters’ members) with a signed Twinning Programme Agreement.
